Cooper Flagg has officially joined the New Balance family, adding another rising star to the brand’s growing basketball roster. The top-ranked high school basketball player is known for his impressive versatility on both ends of the court, and his partnership with New Balance marks a significant move for the brand as it continues to establish itself in the basketball landscape.

Flagg, the incoming Duke freshman who is regarded as one of the best basketball prospects in the country, is set to be a key part of New Balance’s push into the next generation of basketball talent. The Maine native has already made waves in the basketball world with his standout performances and dominant defensive skills, making him a prime addition to the New Balance lineup.

Over the summer, Flagg was among the 15 athletes named to the 2024 USA Basketball Men’s Select Team chosen to train with the USA Basketball Men’s National Team, the only teenager and first collegiate player with the honor since 2013.

I grew up wearing New Balance, and I appreciate their authentic connection to my community. The focus and growth of the brand in basketball and our shared values and history drew me in.
From day one, it was clear that this would be a family-like partnership. I’m so excited to join this family and help them grow the category with young athletes.

Flagg joins a roster that already includes NBA stars like Kawhi Leonard, Zach LaVine, and Jamal Murray. Per New Balance, Flagg will be a part of basketball campaigns and will also work with the brand across lifestyle extensions and community initiatives, focusing on programs giving back to young athletes.
