When word of “Doernbecher” sneakers returning, fans salivated at the opportunity to get their hands on the Air Jordan 3 “Doernbecher”. The tonal red upper features diamond detailing, and “COLE” subtly spelled out in unorthodox font. A red mudguard is dressed up by tonal red elephant print on the toe cap and heel counter. Hits of black on the heel, ankle collar, lace eyelets, laces, and tongue offset the red coloring. Silver on the inner lining and midsole match the silver branding for the final details. The “Doernbecher” 3 is finished with an illustrious clear sole with red stitching. The words “COURAGE” and “STRENGTH” are inscribed on the insoles to commemorate the two attributes that helped child designer Cole Johanson beat lymphoma. The Air Jordan 3 “Doernbecher” returns for the first time since 2010 on Satuday, June 20. Check out the images below, and let us know if these a cop or drop for you?
