adidas Taps Craig Green for a Stealthy “Core Black” Scuba Stan

For its latest collaboration, adidas has tapped British fashion designer Craig Green for a mash-up of the classic Stan Smith silhouette and the SCUBA PHORMAR.

Dubbed the Scuba Stan, this upcoming model will release in three different colorways, including this stealthy “Core Black” outfit. The Stan Smith shape can be seen in the sneaker’s leather upper, while down below design cues from the SCUBA PHORMAR are seen on the ridged midsole. Rope detailing shouts out to boat shoes, while three braided ropes forming adidas’ Trefoil sits on the tongue. Rounding out the final design cues are the co-branded insoles and outsole.
