Heavy Rotation: Converse Chuck Taylors, Air Jordan retros
After years of being championed by his fans and dubbed ‘next’ by more than a few media outlets, Wiz Khalifa became a household name with the release of Rolling Papers. “Black & Yellow” was an undeniable crossover hit, making the most of his range and ability to rap over high-tempo, electronic leaning beats.
The Taylor Gang general lived up to his billing by rocking Chucks on stage at many of his major TV or festival appearances. Retros remained in rotation, impressively many of which that hadn’t released in some time.
