Under Armour Honor Lewis Latimer With a Special Curry Retro 1 “Black History Month Edition”

To celebrate Black History Month, and more specifically African-American inventor and patent draftsman Lewis Latimer, Steph Curry and Under Armour have brought back the Curry 1 in the Black History Month colorway.

The OG pair was originally released as a PE back in 2015 and later released as an Asia exclusive in 2021. Now the Curry Retro 1 “Black History Month Edition” will see a global drop. The design includes subtle nods to Latimer’s work including a reflective upper, a light bulb on the tongue pull tabs, and a dotted motif resembling circuit boards.
