Custom sneakers, like the owners themselves, come in a variety of styles. Sometimes soles are replaced or retooled; sometimes the colors are re-dyed or materials are swapped out; and sometimes all you need is a paintbrush and your imagination.

Ben Smith of Brush by Ben Smith does exactly the latter. Smith takes the Nike Roshe One Flyknit PRM and, in true artistic fashion, hand-paints the leather side panels in a geometric camouflage compromised of various shades of greys and blacks. Less is indeed more. The pair you see here was made exclusively for Valentin Chmerkovskiy of Dancing with the Stars.
