Last year, John Geiger and The Shoe Surgeon took the sneaker industry by storm as their joint creation of the “Misplaced Checks” series drew the admiration of many. However, it seems as though it’s not only providing gratification, but rather lends itself to become a muse as the custom artist Mateo-Acrylics has recently unveiled his “misBAPEdsta” Nike Air Force 1 High Custom.

Utilizing a white base, this model fuses “misplaced” accents along the ankle collar and cascades down into the side panel. Furthermore, Mateo-Acrylics employed leather and suede laces within the custom as the iconic BAPE camouflage print is seen along with adjoining imagery, while resting on top of a yellow outsole.

All in all, this is a strong showing from the Miami native, who has an Instagram account full of gems. To see more, check out his work.
