Artist Daniel Arsham is a futurist at heart. Much of his work would be tucked under the postmodern umbrella, largely subsequent to what’s current. It’s one of the many reasons why the adidas Futurecraft 4D is his ideal collaborative project.
Trailing “Past” and “Present” adidas releases in 2017, Arsham’s third partnering shoe is undeniably his best to date. Manipulating light and space with 4D midsole tooling, Arsham removes the signature stripes from the upper to allow the smooth Primeknit fabrication to flow freely. Light distressing seen throughout said upper is apparent as loose strands fray around the tongue and heel.
Fans of this progressive sneaker can expect the release on October 12 as Arsham recently confirmed on Twitter in a reply to SoleLinks.
The Daniel Arsham x adidas Futurecraft 4D is reported to retail for $450.
