New Balance is the pioneer of runners and debatably the father of the “Dad Shoe.” While New Balance remains as one of the most time-tested brands in footwear moving multiple units, we’ve seen a multitude of other brands embody the runner and elevate it to new heights.
In his newest custom, Jake Danklefs merges two iconic brands that are known for its fatherly footwear — New Balance and Balenciaga. These custom New Balance 990v4s get sole swapped with the high-end Balenciaga Triple-S for a one of a kind look.
This runner definitely stands out not only as a great custom but as an homage to the wave of runners in its many forms and adaptations.
