Last night in Brooklyn, Raptors lead guard DeMar DeRozan once again wore a Kobe sneaker on court, only this time, he became the first person other than Kobe himself to break out the new 11th signature model.
With a vivid red Flykint upper and black framing through the collar and tongue, the Kobe 11 “Achilles Heel” colorway highlights Kobe’s relentless effort to make it back from the devastating Achilles tear he suffered in 2013. You’ll find four stitch lines along the left heel representing the surgery process, and a 300-esque warrior mask icon on the right heel inspired by Kobe’s strength and mentality.
