As the NBA regular season comes to a close tomorrow, Russell Westbrook’s historic run transitions to the postseason. But we’d be remiss if we didn’t take a snapshot of where he currently stands; smack-dap in the record books with 42 triple doubles and, by the estimations of many, a looming MVP trophy. Jordan Brand is celebrating his heroics by releasing what might be his best shoe to date — the Air Jordan XXX1 “Why Not” PE.
Utilizing a blend of Flyweave and leather construction, the shoes aesthetic progression pulls from Russ’ Air Jordan 3 PE first seen back in 2013. Elephant print fills much of the shoe’s rear while Oklahoma City Thunder colors finish the remainder of the body. At Westbrook’s request, Air Jordan XXX tooling resides below for heightened footing and cushioning.
Take an official look at the Air Jordan XXX1 “Why Not” PE below and calendar the April 29 Jordan Release Date.
