Devin Booker Nike Book 1 “Chapter 1”

Earlier this summer, images of Devin Booker’s upcoming Nike Book 1 “Chapter One” signature surfaced.

Now the Phoenix Suns star has officially unveiled his upcoming sneaker by way of his social media accounts. In a video shared to his platforms, the home video footage sees Booker proudly sharing the silhouette with his inner circle, including the likes of Phil Knight, J. Cole, Mister Cartoon, Chris Gibbs, Zack Bia and many more, as well as him sporting the pair in a few friendly games. Throughout the footage, you can hear the first reactions and praise for Booker’s sneaker from his crew.

However, the highlight of the clip is seeing Booker carrying his Nike Book 1 “Chapter One” signature in a custom “Book” embellished silver suitcase as he heads to Drake’s concert in Glendale for the “It’s All a Blur Tour”. The multi-hyphenate Canadian artist went on to perform in the all-orange colorway to the delight of fans and Booker himself in the audience.

The low-top sneaker sports an all-orange color scheme (likely to be the “Clay Orange/Ice Peach-Campfire Orange” colorway) throughout its snakeskin overlays, Swooshes, and laces. Rounding out the final details is the “BOOK” detailing stitched into the back of the tongue and “CHAPTER ONE” embossed on the heel tab.

There will be four lead colorways of the Nike Book 1 releasing in Spring of 2024. It features a stacked Cushlon 2.0 foam midsole with TPU sidewall, and a top-loaded Zoom Air bag in the heel.

Workwear inspired the aesthetics of the shoe with a rugged canvas and twill in the upper for durability. Suede is found on the collar and genuine leather is on the forefoot. Furthering the storytelling, the pull tab on the heel in inspired by the spine of an actual book.
