Jordan Brand is adding another rising NFL star to its elite roster. Devin White is among the newest athletes to join the exclusive club.
During his career at LSU, White was named All American Honors twice, All-SEC honors twice, and became the Tiger’s first Dick Butkus Award winner as the nation’s top linebacker. As a result of his collegiate success, the former Tiger was drafted fifth overall in the 2019 NFL Draft. Recreating his success at LSU, White recorded 97 solo tackles, 9 sacks, and one forced fumble. Against Kansas City in Super Bowl this year, White recorded 12 tackles helping Tampa Bay secure the win 31-9.
When asked about what it means to be a Jordan signee White had this to say. “The swagger is second to none. You’re not going to see that many pairs of Jordans on the field. Some teams have no Jordan athletes on the field. It’s exclusive. To see Jordan Brand put MJ’s footwear on the gridiron is dope, man. You couldn’t ask for anything better. It’s swagger through the roof!”
White now accompanies Jalen Ramsey, Golden Tate, Joe Haden, DeAndre Hopkins, Dez Bryant, Michael Thomas, Tyrann Mathieu, Earl Thomas, Le’Veon Bell, Jarvis Landry, Jimmy Garopplo, and Chase Claypool.
Congratulations Devin White on his new partnership with Jordan Brand. We look forward to seeing what the future has in store for the Super Bowl Champ.
