Dime x adidas Busenitz Vulc II

Following recent collaborations with Vans, Reebok, and ASICS, Montreal-based skateboarding brand Dime is once again joining forces with adidas Skateboarding for a collaborative range.

Having teamed up with adidas Skateboarding earlier this year on two colorways of the Superstar ADV, Dime and adidas this time around are shining a light on the Busenitz Vulc II. Over the years, Dime has ascended to the top of the skateboarding community thanks to its dependability and simple design aesthetics. It’s no different here, as Dime’s minimalist design aesthetics are injected into each color scheme in the collection.

The Dime x adidas Busenitz Vulc II pays homage to the original Busenitz Pro, championed by skateboarding icon Dennis Busenitz, a global Pro team rider for adidas. Each colorway is constructed from premium suede in light brown or grey; the former scheme boasts dark brown Three Stripes branding and gold detailing, while the latter opts for light pink branding. Rounding out the final design cues are the wave design on the patent leather Three Stripes branding and sockliner, as well as the Dime branding debossed on the heels.

On the collaboration, Dime’s Mark Regimbal shared, “For the Busenitz Vulc II, we aimed for unique color combinations in skate-friendly suede. Our goal is to attract existing model fans and introduce the style to a new audience. Dennis, universally respected in skateboarding, is integral to our partnership, having played a pivotal role in the adidas Skateboarding program’s inception.”

Dennis Busenitz expresses his excitement, stating, “I’ve known the Dime crew for years; they’re friends and a great brand for my adidas Skateboarding Pro model. Collaborating with them on a colorway was a thrilling experience, and I’m delighted with the final product.”
