Dior Men’s Head Footwear Designer Thibo Denis invited close friend Tremaine Emory to deliver a set of Denim Tears x Dior Mules. Denis previewed a closer look of the shoes on his Instagram, which seems to have confirmed that the luxury slip-on will be arriving later this year.
From what we can tell so far, the mules will be offered in four different colorways. The mules share similarities to the Birkenstock‘s Boston Clogs as the silhouette has a wide base with a rounded toe and slip-on entry in the back.
Two of the colorways featured Dior monogram print with one in Navy Blue and the other in Grey. Both iterations share a peace sign buckle detail on the strap, while the Navy Blue version also features a bleached peace sign detail on the front.
As for the others, the mules rely on smooth suede to elevate the silhouette. Each iteration is complete with a thick Black sole and premium buckles. Dior and Denim Tears offer the mules in shades of warm sand and rich moss.
The series also introduces a hybrid silhouette that blends mules and men’s dress shoes. Coming in Black leather and Green suede, the mules chop off the back of the dress shoe, but keep the laces and traditional toebox shape.
Look for the Denim Tears x Dior Mules to release later this year. Updates on the shoes can be found on our Sneaker Release Dates page. Take a look at the mules below and follow @NiceDrops on Twitter.
