| There won’t be any more hazing of this rookie, as Charlotte Bobcats rookie point guard D.J. Augustin has become the newest member of Team Jordan. This is the second big name to sign a footwear deal with Jordan Brand, as last week we let you know that Sacramento Kings guard, Kevin Martin had signed to Jordan Brand. It is really no surprise, considering Augustin was the Bobcats pick at 9th overall in last years NBA draft, and Michael Jordan is the teams managing member of basketball operations. Augustin played his college ball at the University of Texas. He carries himself in a very professional manner, reminiscent of MJ himself, which makes him a perfect fit for Team Jordan. You won’t be seeing DJ wearing that “Little Miss Giggles” backpack the veterans had him wearing at training camp. Now you’ll just be seeing Jordan’s on his feet.
