DJ Khaled, a longtime music producer not exactly known for athletics, is teaming up once again with Jordan Brand on a major performance launch. Next Friday, the Snapchat personality will be hosting the University of Michigan men’s and women’s basketball team school rally alongside coaches John Beilein and Kim Barnes Arico.
In addition to introducing the full team rosters for the upcoming season in front of an expected packed house, Khaled and the coaching staff will also be unveiling the first ever Jordan Brand uniforms for the Wolverines.
The event will also be the first time the players themselves see the new jerseys, which should make for some pretty great reactions as the partnership between the brand and school continues to grow. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required for the September 30th event due to the expected attendance. Full sign-up details are available at the University’s MGoBlue.com website.
