Don Torelli x Nike Tennis Classic “Canarinho Collection”

Brazilians love socc… futbol. And to pay tribute to the national obsession, Nike Sportswear Brazil is continuing their Canarinho Collection with these Tennis Classics, designed by artist Don Torelli. The last time we saw the Tennis Classic, it was as a two-pack and sporting the Vintage tag.

Rather than keep the Vintage look though, these steer in the opposite direction, donning a bright orange and black color-up. The uppers use an all-over design which was done by hand. The outsole and liner are done in orange, the same as the designs, bringing the look full circle. The “Canarinho Collection” also includes multiple t-shirt designs done by the other atists involve. We already saw a few shoes from this collection back in May, both of which used a similar hand-drawn technique.
