The Rod Laver resurrection will continue in 2010, as adidas Consortium has chosen New York’s Dave’s Quality Meat to work on a three-shoe run of the classic sneaker. Since the three stripe brand is using an old school and simple silhouette as the base, it only makes sense that the retailer collaborators chose to keep the uppers monotone, and allow the chosen materials to shine. Mesh makes up the majority of the build, while suede is in place on the midfoot. The tongue has been done in leather, as well as the toe box. Dark green, navy blue and yellow are the available colorways. These will be available at select accounts on March 13th. |
