There was magic in the air at American Airlines Arena last night. Arguably the Miami Heat’s greatest franchise player, Dwyane Wade, suited up for the final home game of his Hall of Fame career. And in a game where the Heat won easily and Wade, true to form, poured in 30 points, made the night even more special with two one-of-a-kind WoW 7 PEs.
Upon entering the tunnel at American Airlines for the last time as a player, Wade wore an all-red suit with matching Li-Ning Way of Wade 7 PEs. Tagged with #OneLastDance at the heel, the gleaming red sneakers were highlighted by a glittered wrap around the midsection of the shoe. He’d wear them for warm-ups only before switching to his second WoW 7 of the night.
The second pair, similar to the first aesthetically, featured a white upper with gold glitter around the waist. Wade’s 30 point grand closing was one for the books and, too, a strong outing for Li-Ning as they proved they could cook up something special for their signature endorser.
Before last night’s home sendoff, Dwyane Wade’s son, Zaire Wade, recreated his famed Converse “From Robbins, Illinois” commercial which helped announce D Wade one last time. There was magic at American Airlines indeed.
Like father, like son.

These are an easy add to Dwyane Wade’s best kicks on court of his career.
