Yesterday at the Nike Campus in Beaverton, OR, Tim Tebow and Nike unveiled a special EA Sports NCAA Football 11 themed Nike Trainer 1.2 to celebrate Tim Tebow’s achievements on the field and making the cover of the new game title that goes on sale July 13th.
The Nike Trainer 1.2 is an update to the Nike Trainer 1 with increased support thanks to Flywire technology and strap, superior flexibility with a Nike Free inspired Diamond FLX sole, and the protection of a Max Air heel. ?This special colorway sports Florida Gators colors with a royal upper, gator skin details used across several panels, orange midsole, white outsole, and accents of Gator green around the swoosh and on the strap. ?EA Sports branding hits the tongue as well as the strap for the game title NCAA Football 11.
On the left heel marks the word “PROMISE” which represents the touching post game?interview he gave to Florida Gator fans following their heart breaking loss to Ole’ Miss on September 27, 2008. ?The full text of his speech is?inscribed?on the insole of the shoes. ?On the right heel is a series of years marking his Heisman Trophy, BCS Titles, and All American honors.
The EA Sports x Nike Trainer 1.2 “NCAA Football 11” will be available to the public in very limited numbers – we will keep you posted. ?For more info about NCAA Football 11 head to EASports.com where you can pre-order a copy.
