eBay‘s Authenticity Guarantee program has announced an exclusive shipping partnership with FedEx.
Beginning in October, upon sale, eBay will provide you with a FedEx label at no cost, to ship your Authenticity Guarantee-eligible sneakers to our authentication center.
The change will apply to both new and revised listings, and eBay shipping will be the default domestic shipping service.
Statement via eBay
The announcement comes days after eBay made changes to its Authenticity Guarantee program, including fee changes and providing shipping labels.
Starting in October, eBay Authenticity Guarantee will be raising its seller fees by 12.9% for pairs between $100-$150 for those without a Basic Store subscription and 12% for those with a subscription.
eBay stated that it will be providing shipping labels for sellers and buyers will be charged a flat rate of $14.95. The company will provide loss and damage protections if a mishap were to happen en route to the authenticator.
