Baron Davis was the brand’s biggest market payer seeing that he worked in the bright lights of Los Angeles. It was a perfect situation for Li-Ning and Baron Davis to garner attention for his signature model. The west coast was very near the Chinese market, and you could always catch Baron and his Li-Ning BD Defend sneakers in the Blake Griffin highlights seeing that he was the guy throwing him alley-oops consistently. It may be a little tough to market Baron’s Li-Ning BD Defend in Cleveland.
