It seems like K-Swiss is attempting to situate themselves amongst a more elevated audience as the brand taps LA-based label Engineered Garments for a new collab. Together, Engineered Garments and K-Swiss will be working on the Classic GT, a heritage K-Swiss silhouette that debuted in 1996. This upcoming project follows the Corridor x K-Swiss Collection which focused on contemporary tennis aesthetics.
In the past, Engineered Garments has collaborated with Reebok, Dr. Martens, and Converse amongst others, all of which were dressed in an intentional color palette featuring earthy neutrals of green, grey, beige, and black.
It seems that this may what’s to come for the upcoming Engineered Garments x K-Swiss Classic GT, as the collection was teased using co-branded graphics of the same color palette.
While the look of the sneaker still remains under wraps, a minimal yet fresh design is to be expected. Engineered Garments’ laid back approach is sure to mesh well with the sporty heritage of K-Swiss. While unconfirmed at this point in time, it seems that three colorways will be arriving for the launch.
The Engineered Garments x K-Swiss Classic GT releases on May 12, 2023. More info will be available soon, so be sure to check back with our Sneaker Release Dates page for updates. In the meantime, follow @NiceDrops on Instagram.
