New York-based clothing brand Engineered Garments and sportswear giant Reebok have once again joined forces, this time on a collaborative BB4000 II range boasting a metallic gold and metallic silver colorway.

Inspired by retro basketball style and the prevalence of gold and silver accents and details through 1980s fashion, each Engineered Garments x Reebok BB4000 II, led by designer Daiki Suzuki, features a premium leather upper, an embossed quarter panel logo, and a chalk midsole, seated atop a classic gum rubber outsole.

“The idea of searching for silver and gold accents in the style of the 1980s led me to explore old-school basketball shoes,” Suzuki shared in the official press release. “Among them, I found that the style of Reebok’s BB4000 II is the closest match to my envisioned image.”

With its emphasis on quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and effortless style, the latest Engineered Garments x Reebok collaboration continues to captivate fashion enthusiasts and sneakerheads alike, setting a new standard for collaborative partnerships in the industry.

Both Engineered Garments x Reebok BB4000 II colorways will be released on April 26 exclusively via Engineered Garments online store with a wider release set for May 3 via Reebok.com. Each colorway will retail for $120. For more drops, check out our Sneaker Release Dates Calendar.
