Eric Koston’s been a journeyman of sorts with his selected footwear provider. ?S, Lakai and most recently Nike SB have all used the legendary skateboarder as a spokesperson. But the one that started it all, the ?S Koston 1, which Lakai remade when Eric rode for them, is back as an ?S sneaker again. This time, it wears the “One” name.

We got a look at a tan sample pair of these sneakers, when details were sketchy as to its eventual release. Three color-ups (so far) are now expected to release in black, tan and two-tone grey colorways. The Koston name is gone, but the design remains the same, with the addition of G2 cushioning in the vulcanized sole. Suede and nubuck pair up with mesh on the uppers, with gum sole used for the black pair, and white for the other two.
