A new era for Nike Basketball is on the horizon as Devin Booker and the Nike Book 1 are the latest signature shoe athlete and sneaker for the Swoosh.

Dedicated to being a future classic, the Nike Book 1 draws from the idea of being optimized for performance while still having off-court/lifestyle appeal.

Officially released in December 2023 with 500 pairs of the Nike Book 1 “Chapter One” during Miami Art Basel, the rollout for the Book 1 has a range from PEs to general releases, including the Nike Book 1 “Mirage” and Nike Book 1 “Mirage V2”colorways.

As the journey for the Nike Book 1 begins, we’re taking a look at every colorway Devin Booker and Nike have cooked up on the guard’s inaugural signature shoe.

Take a look at every Nike Book 1 colorway worn by Devin Booker so far below.

The Nike Book 1 “Mirage” took center stage in Indianapolis as Booker debuted the first retail colorway on the hardwood during the All-Star Game. A light tan & brown combination on the upper with a clean, white midsole and translucent milky outsole doubled-down on the Book 1’s simplicity.

The Suns All-Star paid homage to The Valley of the Sun with the “1995 All-Star” PE colorway inspired by the vibrant purple jerseys worn by the Eastern Conference in the star-studded matchup that Phoenix hosted. Suede, patent leather and mesh were the canvas for the heavy dose or purple with teal, purple and black accents.

Nike Book 1 “Metallic Purple”

Sticking to the OG Air Jordan 1 High as inspiration, Devin Booker cooked up another hit. With the OG Air Jordan 1 High “Metallic Purple” as the muse, the latest Nike Book 1 PE was coated in all-white with a metallic purple accent on the collar, tongue lining, and “BOOK” branding.

Nike Book 1 “Shattered Backboard”

In addition to the AM95 inspiration, Michael Jordan’s iconic OG Air Jordan 1 High “Shattered Backboard” was also a part of Booker’s muse board as the Phoenix Sun perfectly blended the black, off-white, and orange color scheme of the AJ1 onto his Book 1 arsenal. And like the SBB, the Book 1 is crafted with premium, glossy leather.

Nike Book 1 “Neon”

With Devin Booker being born in 1996, a Nike Air Max 95 inspiration was surely in the works given his affinity for the classics whether cars or sneakers. The Nike Book 1 “Neon” mirrors the iconic OG Nike Air Max 95 “Neon” as a black, grey and neon green appear on the shoe’s primarily suede build. A translucent green outsole emulating the AM95’s Air unit completes the colorway.

Nike Book 1 “Moss Point”

In 2019, Booker designed his own Nike Air Force 1 colorway. The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Moss Point” was inspired by his southern hospitality roots and attending Moss Point High School in Mississippi before making a name for himself at the University of Kentucky. A baby blue and silver upper with a slightly aged midsole appears similar to the original AF1.

Nike Book 1 “Orange”

Following the all-orange “Chapter One” colorway, Book followed it up with a more vibrant, fluorescent-like Book 1 PE. A blood-orange Swoosh, an all-leather orange upper, and a speckled midsole round out the iteration.

Nike Book 1 “Be Legendary”

In addition to calling back to colorways in Nike’s archive, Booker also tapped into his Nike Kobe 4 collection — specifically his Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Be Legendary” PE.

During Kobe Bryant’s last match-up against a young Devin Booker, the Mamba wrote “Be Legendary” on his sneakers which became a tradition on Booker’s game kicks going forward. For his Book 1 PE, a familiar colorway with the “Be Legendary” writing made an appearance.

Nike Book 1 “Detroit Stomper”

The son of Moss Point-turned-Phoenix Sun paid homage to his Grand Rapids, Michigan, roots with an all-black Nike Book 1. The shoe’s double entendre messaging arrives in the form of the iconic Old English “D” on the heel counter that serves as a nod to the Detroit Tigers as well as a call out to Booker’s name. A blacked-out jewel Swoosh completes the colorway.

Limited to 500 pairs and releasing exclusively during Miami Art Basel, the Nike Book 1 “Chapter One” was the first pair available to the public and really got things going for Book as the colorway made its way from Drake to DJ Khaled, Kevin Durant, Futura and many more. Premium materials and a nearly monochromatic look made the “Chapter 1” the proper introduction of the Book 1 to the world.

Nike Book 1 “Cool Grey”

Book got things rolling on the court with a “Cool Grey” colorway of his first signature shoe. Various shades of grey along with suede, leather, and a woven textile base with a detailed pattern are accompanied by a speckled midsole.
