Kyrie Irving and ANTA are just getting started with the ANTA KAI 1.

After parting ways with Nike in 2022, Irving, one of the NBA’s most electrifying point guards, signed a long-term deal with ANTA in July 2023.

The deal positioned him not only as a signature athlete but also granted him a leadership role as the Chief Creative Officer.

The partnership gives Irving greater creative control, allowing him to have a direct influence on design, product development, and brand marketing.

As the partnership continues to unfold, we get a glimpse of what Kai and ANTA were cooking up with a plethora of unreleased colorways.

Take a detailed look at every unreleased ANTA KAI 1 sample below.

ANTA KAI 1 “Pink/Yellow”

  • If there’s one thing that Kyrie’s creativity won’t shy from, it’s color with this iteration being a prime example
  • The gradient treatment on the TPU lateral support is a nice addition

ANTA KAI 1 “Sun”

  • Though summer is over, the “Sun” ANTA KAI 1 will never fade with its bright orange and yellow color combination that can’t be missed
  • The “Sun” lettering and design on the midfoot strap are just as captivating as the rest of the shoe

ANTA KAI 1 “Moon”

  • As a counterpart to the “Sun” colorway, the ANTA KAI 1 “Moon is the perfect contrast with the rich purple hue
  • The star-like details and phases of the moon on the forefoot area bring the colorway together

ANTA KAI 1 “Chief Hela”

  • Kyrie’s embraced his Indigenous roots from his Nike to sneaker free agent days
  • Continuing the tradition is the “Chief Hela” colorway with premium materials

ANTA KAI 1 “Alternate Chief Hela”

  • Like the brown and yellow pair, the beige and blue “Chief Hela” continues the rich storytelling of Kyrie’s roots
  • The details, patterns, and materials stand out on the alternate pair

ANTA KAI 1 “White/Metallic Blue”

  • While not as loud as other colorways, the details that shine are the “Metallic Blue” treatment on the tongue logo, TPU, and top midsole area
  • A sail midsole and red pull tab add the perfect balance of color

ANTA KAI 1 “White/Blue/Multi-Color”

  • At first glance, the pair is nearly identical to the aforementioned colorway but the multi-color lining sets it apart
  • Striking the perfect balance of simple and eye-catching, every aspect of the pair works well in unison

ANTA KAI 1 “Light Blue”

  • While every colorway so far has been a hit, the light blue KAI 1 with the translucent milky outsole is a must-have if a retail release is in the pipeline
  • What’s cooler than being cool? Ice cold

ANTA KAI 1 “Duke”

  • The Duke brotherhood is next level as Blue Devils dominate the league making Kyrie’s homage to his alma mater a no-brainer
  • With two different colorways, the “Duke” ANTA KAI 1s combine the signature blue, black, and white color palette of the university

ANTA KAI 1 “Black/Yellow/Blue”

  • The ANTA KAI 1 cook-up is elite as the black, yellow, and blue iteration is an automatic neckbreaker
  • The pattern on the toe box, laces, and sidewall bring all of the hues together

ANTA KAI 1 “Sail/Brown/Blue”

  • The ANTA KAI 1 stays regal with an elevated look thanks to the combination of earth tones with hits of blue, red, and even gold
  • Once again, the sidewalls and toe box steal the show

ANTA KAI 1 “Red/Orange”

  • Warm tones grace another KAI 1 as a rich red and vibrant orange are met with sail and light blue
  • The colorblocking of the KAI 1 is next level and the minds behind the colorways waste don’t waste any opportunity

ANTA KAI 1 “Yellow/Orange/Blue”

  • The yellow, orange, and blue KAI 1 is another example of how the silhouette is the perfect canvas for Irving
  • The outsole treatment brings the colorway together

ANTA KAI 1 “Black/Green/Blue”

  • The ANTA KAI 1 gets creative with the upper with an all-over pattern
  • The aged-like outsole is a nice touch on the pair
