New Balance has partnered with Foot Locker to deliver two new colorways of the New Balance 550. The late ’80s basketball silhouette has returned in a big way over the last couple years, with classic colorways and even big name collabs like Comme des Garcons and Aimé Leon Dore taking over the sneaker.
This time around, the model arrives in “Cream/Light Blue” and “Black/Royal Blue.” Both iterations employ a chunky, wide bodied New Balance “N” logo with a basketball graphic tongue, giving the sneaker a bold finish to the newly minted model.
The New Balance 550 “Cream/Light Blue” has a Cream-colored upper made of leather and synthetic mesh materials. The sneaker showcases a White midsole and smooth Light Blue outsole, which corresponds with the Blue New Balance “N.”
For the New Balance 550 “Black/Royal Blue” edition, the sneaker has a classic all-Black colorway with Electric Blue mesh accents. The signature New Balance “N” stands out in “Royal Blue” and complements the heel and tongue. The sneaker is finished with a matte Grey outsole and crisp White midsole.
Both of these New Balance 550s are available now, exclusively at New Balance and Foot Locker, in-store and online. Each pair is priced at $120. Take a look at the sneakers below and follow @NiceDrops on Twitter.
