As one of the featured powerhouse adidas Basketball programs over the past decade, the University of Kansas has enjoyed their share of exclusive sneakers for some of the school’s biggest games.
This year is no different, as the Jayhawks will be lacing up two colorways of the new adidas Crazy Explosive Low, along with their new March Madness-specific unis. It’s the first time adidas has created a tournament specific jersey, and KU’s newest look features bold striping, their “Rock Chalk Jayhawk” chant phrase along the bottom hem, along with a nod to their 1922, 1923, 1952, 1988 and 2008 title teams on the inner neck.
Headlined by Frank Mason III and Josh Jackson, Kansas is yet again entering the tourney with a #1 seed, taking the top slot of the Midwest region set to tip off on Friday afternoon in Tulsa. Players will have the option of either a blue or white based PE of the Crazy Explosive Low, each featuring a custom Jayhawk tongue logo, semi-translucent support cage and graphic insoles honoring the school’s past top teams.
