After stealing the show during Stephen Curry’s Game 1 press conference during the Western Conference Finals, Riley Curry was back at it again last night. Just before owning the media room with her random antics, she first was emulating her dad’s on-court celebrations as the Warriors clinched a trip to the NBA Finals for the first time in 40 years.

Once at the podium, she was once again fairly bored, took a stroll walking around under a curtain, and even sang some Big Sean.

All season long, Stephen has been enjoying the best year of his career, with an All-Star starting nod, MVP award, franchise best 67-15 record and first signature shoe, the Under Armour Curry One, under his belt.

His love for his 2-year old daughter is certainly no secret, and he and Under Armour have been making sure young Riley is also able to enjoy wearing his first sneaker.

To date, they’ve made five colorways of the Curry One in toddler sizes just for Riley: the GSW Home, All-Star, Father2Son, MVP and Candy Reign.

The bold “Candy Reign” colorway in particular came about after Dave Dombrow, UA’s VP of Footwear Design, took a trip to Oakland last summer to visit with Stephen and discuss the shoe.

“One of the times we were meeting, he offered me some candy. I’m like, ‘Yeah, I’ll take some,'” laughs Dombrow. “Then he opened up the cabinet, and it was like, ‘Oh, I didn’t know you were obsessed with it!’ It was everywhere. [laughs] So I’m thinking, ‘Well, we’re doing a colorway. That’s a colorway!'”

Before long, samples of the Curry One were styled up in vibrant neon and orange hues, tying back to the Sour Patch Kids candy that Stephen is known to eat around the clock.

“I wouldn’t have really known, unless I was standing right there and witnessed it,” Dombrow recalls. “That’s because Steph and his family were so welcoming and let us in.”

Naturally, the candy-inspired colorway of the Curry One was one of the versions made for Riley. Take an exclusive look at her exact pair below, and stay tuned for more Curry One features as the NBA Finals get underway next week.
