The Japanese brand adds a sentiment both youthful and sporty which is interesting considering that region’s penchant for mature menswear. Far from mad at it, pull tabs add identity and utility while an outlined Wings logo appears playful.
Carrying a crinkled leather upper and shades ranging from smoky blue to safety orange, there’s a lot going on in this collab. In fact, the FACETASM Air Jordan 1 is a tribute to Tokyo.
A formal release date is now confirmed for November 22, 2019.
