NY Graffiti Artist FAUST Designs Commemorative Nike SB Dunk High For His Late Best Friend

New York City-based graffiti artist, FAUST has teamed up with Nike for collaboration on a Nike SB Dunk High.

The pair comes dressed in Black and Metallic Gold colorway. The pair features Black suede on the base with tumbled leather covering the;`overlays. Both the lateral and medial side features embroidery with Gold used on the lateral side of the left shoe. Printed on the insoles, displays ‘Sell Your Soul’ and ‘The Devil Is In The Details’ printed in a sharp handstyle on the Nike Zoom Air Unit. Other details include Gold embroidery on the collar flaps and Black on the rubber sole to complete the look.

The gold tag on the left shoe of the @faustnewyork Nike SB Dunk High commemorates his friend @surelives, who passed away in 2010.

“Remembering Sure, my best friend and partner-in-crime. Brooklyn’s own, Sure traveled the world serving in the United States Marine Corps and rose to the rank of Sergeant by the age of 23. He did tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and relief missions in New Orleans and Mali. But he was so prolific on the streets of New York, you would have never known he was away.

These are a few of our last tags together, caught in SoHo in 2010. He didn’t stay home for long. Rising through the ranks at such a young age, Sure never shied away from danger. Later that year, he tragically gave his life serving this country in Afghanistan and left behind an indelible mark.”
