FDMTL reunites with Vans Vault for a classic patchwork edition of the Classic Slip-On and Authentic.
The Japanese patchwork experts present two options of each silhouette – one that features various raw indigo fabrics, while the other also features a boro inspired makeup with an assortment of denim swatches with a worn-in and faded look. Lastly, the Authentics feature heritage details on the laces, which are an ode to the stitching that can be seen on Sashiko denim repairs to complete the artisanal appeal.
The FDTML x Vans Vault Classic Slip-On and Authentic launched in Europe last week, but are expected to hit Japanese retailers like California Department on June 29.
