The basketball rivalry between Duke and North Carolina is second to none, and now FILA is celebrating the tradition. Before they even played their first NBA games, Duke’s Grant Hill and UNC’s Jerry Stackhouse were signed by FILA to multi-year contracts as the ambassadors of the brand’s hoops department. Two of their most famous signature sneakers were the FILA 96, also known as the Grant Hill II, and the FILA Spaghetti, both of which will be featured in FILA’s “Tobacco Road” Pack to pay tribute to their college careers. This collection’s 96 is dressed in Blue Devil suede, while the Spaghetti is detailed in Tar Heel blue. Both commemorative sneakers will come in customized packaging to reflect each member’s college colors and location.
