Filling Pieces is a relatively new sneaker company that is based out of Amsterdam. The brand, which is now presenting their 2011 Spring and Summer collection, is focused on “bridging the gap between Haute and Street Couture.” It is obvious through the photos below that the brand is targeting the lifestyle section of sneaker culture which has steadily growing as even the most athletic brands such as Jordan are venturing into this new market.

Today, five pairs are previewed that all feature unique materials, colors and shapes. The first pair shown below is a chukka styled sneaker that features a black toe and tongue that is complimented with a red side panel and white sole unit. The second pair is much more subdued with a monochromatic black upper that makes use of various materials. The third pair once again uses a mid-top chukka look and is an all grey suede material with hints of brown on the laces and heel panel. The fourth and fifth pair make up the low-top portion of the lineup. Both pairs use earthy green and brown tones. Check out more photos below and let us know what you think.
