Originally,?? Air Jordan Brand blended two models to be the signature shoes for Carmelo Anthony, but after relatively poor sales of the Melo 1.5 and Melo 5.5 the future of the “.5” Jordans seemed bleak. Along came the Jordan Team 9.5 which blended the Jordan 9 and Jordan 10 in such great form that many heads have argued that it looks better than both models. Sales were great for this shoe being the top seller for Foot Locker in the month of December, 2006.

Jordan Brand has continued the Jordan .5 series and will be dropping the Team 12.5 this winter, but 2008 will also see the coming of the Jordan 14.5. The Jordan 15 has not been a popular model by any stretch of the imagination and considering the sluggish sales of the retro Jordan 14, one would have a hard time there are many fans of that model either. Count on the design whiz kids at Jordan Brand to create a model where two wrongs do make a right.

The Jordan 14.5 has clear elements of both the Jordan 14 and Jordan 15, but the shoe is fused together to make a shoe that many have already said looks more hopeful than the upcoming Jordan XX3. These sketches were done by sfgort of Kenlu.
