Jordan Brand athlete and Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul is still on the hunt for his first NBA championship. With a bolstered roster and key re-signees, the Clippers, next year, may have their best chance for a run since his arrival in La La Land. CP3 aims for that grail career accomplishment in his ninth signature shoe with Jordan Brand.
The Jordan CP3.IX, for all intents, looks to be one of Paul’s most progressive shoes to date. But what’s interesting is its clear ode to 90’s Nike Basketball heritage. Elder design cues helmed by leather and mesh construction oddly feel nostalgic yet modern, retro although progressive, and strikingly technical while stripped down all at once.
This black and mint colorway with nods to China remain among the first few styles to debut. Give it a look below and share your thoughts accordingly. Stay tuned for more on the Jordan CP3. IX.
