Whenever we think of collegiate footwear, several institutions come to mind such as the likes of North Carolina, UCONN and Duke who utilize their exclusive partnerships with the likes of Jordan and Nike to garner some of the top kicks the market has to offer. However, what happens when you’re a niche university such as Florida Gulf Coast who has suddenly emerged back on the scene with arguably the best array of kicks any school has to offer. Well, you go about your sneaker habit as everyone else does: you cop.
Made famous during their 2013 NCAA tournament run in which they were coined “Dunk City,” this Men’s Hoops squad has forged an indelible mark as of late and their notable retro Air Jordans has caught the eye of many, including Kinfay Moroti of News-Press.
