This long list of releases comes after adidas formally ended its partnership with Ye back in October 2022 due to anti-semitic comments made by the artist on his social media accounts. As a result, multiple retailers pulled Yeezys from their shelves, with Foot Locker being one of them.
Later on, adidas revealed that it had intentions to sell its remaining Yeezy inventory, as the brand with the Three-Stripes was left with $1.3 billion of unsold Yeezys, and felt that trashing or burning the sneakers was not a reasonable solution.
