Rarely does a signature shoe so well embody the player it was designed for. The Nike Total Air Max Bus was exactly that; the sneaker form of Pittsburg Steelers’ running back Jerome Bettis. Just like #36 the Total Air Max Bus was bulky, padded, and built to take a beating. Jerome sported both a cleated and turf version on the field, with Steelers and hometown Detroit Lions turf colorways releasing. A turf retro would have every fan?tailgating?in Total Air.
