Most players need some time to get back into rhythm. Most players aren’t Michael Jordan. After an 18-month retirement, MJ returned to the game he loved just weeks before the 94-95 Playoffs. For his fifth game back, the Bulls traveled to New York to take on the Knicks in what was dubbed “Bulls Over Broadway.” His performance deserved a Tony, as he dropped a visitor record 55 points in Madison Square Garden, capped off by the game winning assist. Fans fell in love with “Chicago” all over again as the new numbered player went off in his new numbered sneakers, the Air Jordan 10.
