Fragment Design Drops a Converse Weapon in “Sport Royal”

From the mind of Hiroshi Fujiwara comes the new Fragment Design x Converse Weapon “Sport Royal.” Fujiwara employs his iconic color blocking to the Converse Weapon, a basketball silhouette that was introduced in 1986.

The vintage structure of the Converse Weapon pairs nicely with Fragment’s “Sport Royal” and “Black” color blocking, which we’ve seen before on the Fragment Design x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 High, as well as unreleased samples like the Air Jordan 3 and an additional Air Jordan 1.

This Converse Weapon has a “White” leather base with smooth “Black” overlays that correspond with the laces and toe cap. The Converse logo is silhouetted with the underlay revealing a “Sport Royal” base. More “Sport Royal” details appear around the ankle collar and tongue tag. The upper sits atop a “Sail” midsole and is complete with a Fragment Design logo embossed on the heel counter.
