You wanted another fragment Design x Air Jordan release? Well, you just might get it.
The fragment Design x Air Jordan 3 Sample originally surfaced back in 2019 on the feet of Hiroshi Fujiwara. Said to be limited to just 8 to 10 pairs, we now have a better look at the pair thanks to @truesthawaii.
Seen for the first time earlier this was the fragment Design x Air Jordan 3.
As expected, Hiroshi Fujiwara has a pair.
Essentially a flip on the “Fire Red” Air Jordan 3, the fragment 3s see dark elephant print, white tumbled leather and grey eyestays carried over from the Fred Savage-endorsed OG with Hiroshi replacing red in favor of royal blue ala his fragment design x Air Jordan 1.
Embossed branding on the elephant print proves these are the real deal as does a Hiroshi wear, while text on the midsole adds identity.
As cool as that is, does the “SU17” stamping stand for Summer 17, alluding that this is just a sample?
At this point, it appears so.
Word has it these are actually one of the rarer Air Jordans samples out there with only a few pairs in existence.
Recently, GOAT and Hypebeast got their hands on a pair and snapped some choice shots.
