For its latest collaboration, Vault by Vans has tapped Josué Thomas’ Gallery Dept. for a five-piece capsule comprising five new bold takes on Geoff Rowley’s XTL LX signature.
Heavily influenced by the skate culture of the early 2000s, each Gallery Dept. x Vault by Vans Rowley XTL LX sports a distinct premium leather and suede outfit with puffy tongues and bulkier ankle collars and all. Colorways include “Blue Steel” which features a combo of grey and blue tones, as well as “Neapolitan” sporting white, pink, and brown hues like the beloved ice cream flavor. For a wilder take, the “Multi” colorway features a bevy of tones from blue, yellow, red, and green.
The duo hasn’t forgotten about prints, offering both a “Flame” and “Giraffe” style, the former emblazoned with flame graphics and the latter covered in a giraffe-inspired print. All styles feature a lightweight EVA midsole for comfort and shock absorption and an enhanced heel clip to increase durability and shape.
All colorways in the Gallery Dept. x Vault by Vans Capsule are available starting today via gallerydept.com, Vans.com, and select retailers. Each pair retails for $165 USD. For more drops, check out our Sneaker Release Dates Calendar.
