Vans taps the influence of Japanese cartoonist, Shigeru Mizuki for their latest Old Skool collaboration. The silhouette features designs and inspiration from the manga series known as GeGeGe no Kitaro, featuring various yokai characters from the show that aired in the 1960s with the addition of a yellow and black checkerboard pattern. Alongside the two Old Skool renditions, there is also a co-branded apparel capsule that also includes six-panel hats to coincide with the overall theme.
The GeGeGe no Kitaro x Vans Old Skool will be available at select Vans Japan accounts on November 23.
