March is known for the NCAA tournament and the “madness,” but March is also Colon Cancer Awareness month. Nice Kicks Editor-in-Chief George Kiel III and his wife Tashia Kiel are helping spread awareness for the deadly disease via their foundation, the Kiel Colon Cancer Foundation.
Time Warner Cable News caught up on Friday with George and Tashia to hear about the Foundation and all of their efforts. You can view the video HERE.
This month, ALL are encouraged to lace up their “Blue Knots” in support of their efforts to raise awareness for testing and to help put an end to this preventable disease. If you are in the Austin area, be sure to come out to the next event today, Saturday, March 19th at University of Texas. Full details are below.
If you aren’t able to make it, be sure to support and get your pair of Blue Knots and other KCCF swag HERE and support the Kiel Colon Cancer Foundation and stay tuned for updates on Kick & Roll at kielcoloncancer.org.
Nice Kicks is proud to support such a great cause led by such a great team.
George, Tashia, and all involved with the KCCF movement – keep pushing and making a change in so many people’s lives.
