Tyler, The Creator‘s Converse partnership is restored this week with the release of his Golf le Fleur “Mono” Collection. Five budding styles are due out this Thursday, picking up where Tyler and Converse left off when the collection debuted to monumental success just a few short months ago.

In 2017, the debut would orbit vibrant hues and adjoining floral branding. This year’s spring assortment is much more pared down as the colors are noticeably medium toned. There are Black, White, Greener Pastures, Limoges, and Rhubarb colorways, each of which are seen through premium suede construction with white stitching.

It’s often understated just how refined the One Star appears under Tyler’s direction. At its core the shoe is minimal and of very little creative flare which, of course, has much to do with when it was originally produced. Tyler’s re-imagining affords the shoe a contemporary coat, a top layer that breathes life into the subtle design offering great nuance and modern-day specificity.

The Golf le Fleur x Converse “Mono” Collection will release on April 26 with an accompanying apparel capsule that includes Converse Essentials Tees and French Terry Crew Sweatshirts in Light Grey Heather, White, Green and Limoges. Look for the unisex offering at golfwang.com and converse.com.
