The Ugly – Vans Vault “Carrot” Pack
Fruits and vegetables have served as themes for sneakers throughout the years. Some sneakers have taken the inspiration literal (see Vans Watermelon Pack) and some sneakers make you wonder what the theme is off of a first look (see Asics GT-II “Kiwi Fruit”). This newly-designed Vans Vault “Carrot” Pack falls in the latter category. At a first glance (without knowing its name), you might think this was a rabbit-themed collection of sneakers. We feels as if the execution could have been a little better. How about making the entire upper orange with minimal green detailing?
