The Good Will Out and Saucony with their upcoming release this weekend prove that well-themed collaborations still exist, as they throw it back to the ’80s for a VHS-inspired drop.
Saucony offers up their Shadow 5000 silhouette for the cause, draping the shoe in a slew of premium materials like all-black suede, leather and mesh. “VHSaucony” marks the heel along with vibrant shades that ode to television test stripes. More cues to the vintage device appear at the toe, where the play, pause, fast forward and rewind buttons hold court.
Look for The Good Will Out x Saucony Shadow 5000 “VHS” on August 5 in-store at Good Will Out. Also, as an added incentive, the first few customers will receive a classic ’80s VHS cassette with their purchase.
